Production Baker
As a member of the production crew at Decent, you’ll learn bagel dough intimately and get to work on a tight knit team. This position is a great fit for you if you strive for perfection and prefer consistency over change.
What you’ll do:
A successful production crew member will have an eye for detail with food and love working in the kitchen. You’ll learn the process from start to finish, from making the dough to boiling it to bake.
Shifts:
7am-2pm, Monday-Friday
Tasks:
Making bagels from start to finish
Making focaccia
Making cookies + other baked goods
Making foods for our prepared foods cold case
Whipping cream cheeses
Dishwashing
Cleaning + mopping the kitchen
Recommended:
Over 17 years old
Enthusiasm for the craft of bread
Ability to work on your feet for up to 8 hours
Ability to lift at least 50lbs
Multitasking is easy for you
Positive attitude when you walk in the building that remains throughout the shift
Ability to read email communications in a timely fashion and respond appropriately
Consistent availability
Works well on a team
Clear communicator
