Production Baker

As a member of the production crew at Decent, you’ll learn bagel dough intimately and get to work on a tight knit team. This position is a great fit for you if you strive for perfection and prefer consistency over change.

What you’ll do:
A successful production crew member will have an eye for detail with food and love working in the kitchen. This team LOVES to sing and dance throughout their shift to keep the energy up! You’ll learn the process from start to finish, from making the dough to boiling it to bake. 

Shifts:

7am-3pm, Monday-Thursday

Tasks:

• Making bagels from start to finish

• Packing bagel shipments

• Making cookie dough + other baked goods

• Whipping cream cheeses

• Prepping food for the evening services

• Dishwashing

• Cleaning + mopping the kitchen

Recommended: 

• Over 17 years old

• Enthusiasm for the craft of bread

• Ability to work on your feet for up to 8 hours

• Ability to lift at least 50lbs

• Multitasking is easy for you

• Positive attitude when you walk in the building that remains throughout the shift

• Ability to read email communications in a timely fashion and respond appropriately

• Consistent availability

• Works well on a team

• Clear communicator
