Bagel Slinger

As Bagel Slinger, you’ll be working the cream cheese counter to assemble bagel sandwiches.  You’ll work closely with the Sauté Cook for any warm sandwiches.  This position is a great fit for you if you have an eye for detail, love for aesthetic plating and garnishing, ability to work cleanly and efficiently, and enjoy the company of teammates as well as customers.

What you’ll do:

A successful Bagel Slinger puts together sandwiches that are delicious and fun to look at.  Think of yourself as a Bagel Sandwich Artist.  Communication with Bagel Register and Sauté Cook are of utmost importance as all three positions lean on each other for support.

Tasks:

• Make bagel sandwiches to order quickly and efficiently

• Prepare drinks (i.e. cold brew, watermelon juice, lemonade, green tea, etc.)

• Organize and maintain cream cheese counter

• Track inventoryClean cream cheese counter & assist in washing dishes at the end of shift

Recommended Experience: 

• Over 18 years old

• Ability to learn quickly in a fast paced environment

• Ability to work on your feet for up to 8 hours

• Willingness to work with your team to complete whatever needs to get done

• Positive attitude when you walk in the building that remains throughout the shift

• Ability to read email communications in a timely fashion and respond appropriately

• Weekend availability

• High degree of organization

• Clear communicator
