As a Barista/Customer Joy Facilitator, you’ll be knowledgeable in the Decent Bagel’s menu. Your job will be multifaceted in a peaceful environment.  Anchored in heavy barista work, you’ll work cleanly and efficiently and make customers feel seen and heard.

What you’ll do:
 

A successful Customer Joy Facilitator will have excellent customer service skills that will never feel forced. They will present themselves with care and have a great understanding of how their environment has an effect on their internal world. They will have the ability to look at the front of the shop and see what is out of place or what needs to be cleaned. They will find ease in oscillating between caring for customers, handling drink preparation work and maintaining a welcoming space.

Tasks:

• Creating excellent espresso drinks

• Making smoothies

• Getting the front of shop ready for opening and closing

• Customer service

Recommended Experience: 

• Over 16 years old

• Ability and desire to speak on our Decent Bagel menu knowledgeably and with excitement

• Ability to work on your feet for up to 8 hours

• You take great care in how you present yourself

• Multitasking is easy for you

• Positive attitude when you walk in the building that remains throughout the shift

• Ability to read email communications in a timely fashion and respond appropriately

• Consistent availability

• Comfortable with a POS system (Toast)

• Clear communicator
