Line Cook

As Line Cook, you’ll be in charge of cooking, preparing and plating the dishes for Sobremesa.  

Tasks:

  • Assisting with stocking & setting up kitchen stations

  • Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking and plating main dishes, side dishes, desserts and appetizers

  • Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time

  • Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at end of shifts

  • Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

Recommended Experience:

  • Over 18 years old

  • Completion of vocational school or a two-year associate degree or at least one year of cooking experience

  • Excellent kitchen administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a team

  • Strong organization, clear communication and active listening skills

  • Ability to work on your feet for up to 8 hours

  • Exceptional time management skills
